Sunrise became a signatory of the UN Global Compact Women Empowerment Principles (WEPs) as of 2021.
As part of our Sustainability commitment, Sunrise is in collaboration with a women’s NGO (KADAV) to Empower Women on domestic violence.
Refugee Integration
Our world is more interconnected than ever and we face daunting challenges from climate change to human migration etc. Turkey has been one of the affected countries in human migration and refugee hosting. Thus; our company is providing decent and legal employment opportunities for refugees.
Social Compliance
In collaboration with the customers, we are continuously working to improve the conditions of the workplace. Therefore; our company has been audited by the customers regularly to make sure that social conditions are in compliance according to BSCI and SMETA compliance programs.
Environmental Sustainability
Climate change is a big issue in the 21st century and business has an important role in it. SUNRISE is taking responsibility to reduce its negative impact and create a positive outcome for the environment. Our environmental management is certified and managed according to ISO 14001 standards.
SUNRISE is also in collaboration with Çamlıca Çevre to take care on and work on Environmental Management.
SUNRISE is in collaboration with an institution to measure and report its annual carbon footprint according to ISO 14061-1 for the year of 2021.
SUNRISE has been using renewable energy which is I-REC certified. Therefore our electricity-related carbon footprint is zero.
